Winter 2012 Collection......
Rich warm flavours and colours were the inspiration for the Winter 2012 flavours. As well as new macaron flavours we have introduced some new Eclair flavours -Apple Crumble Eclair ( Choux pastry filled with Apple and Vanilla Pastry Cream, topped with Caramel Fondant, Salted Caramel and Cimmanon Almond Crumble) and Cherry and Raspberry Eclair (Choux Pastry filled with Red Cherry and Raspberry Creme Patisserie topped with Raspberry Fondant and Cherry 'flowers'). Both delicious and avaliable only at The Colombo shop.

J'aime les macarons @ The Colombo.....
March 24th 2012 was not only our annual Macaron Day but the opening of our second Christchurch shop. J'aime les macarons @ The Colombo has everything our Normans Road shop has but we are able to now serve the delicious Tea Total tea that we have been stocking at Normans Road and we have also developed a new range of pastries that you can either eat at one of the tables near our space (or sit at our own bar) or take home .

The Secret Macaron...
Every week up until Christmas we are giving away macarons!
As a treat to our fans and followers once a week we will announce that The Secret Macaron is in the shop and all you have to do is go in and ask for it and we will give you one for FREE.
The macaron will be a totally different flavour each week, one we have not done before. Possibly slightly experimental but still delicious.
So make the most of it and go in every week.
Just keep an eye on our Facebook Page for details as to what day The Secret Macaron will be in the shop.
