Hello to our lovely community

I am thinking of you and hope everyone is doing well & staying safe.

Just by way of up-date with our business, as an approved Foodstuffs supplier, our commercial kitchen is continuing to operate.  We will continue supplying our macarons to our New World stockists, as well as direct to customers via our online store.  Our courier, Post Haste, is continuing to deliver direct to your door, NZ wide - but please appreciate there may be the occasional delay due to their significantly changed schedules.

As a small business, we are naturally worried about what lies ahead for each of us personally, as a business, our customers, our communities, and the wider world.  We will continue to put our people before our business, so have made the following changes to our work for the interim;

- Our retail store at Merivale Mall is closed until further notice, and those staff (Laura & Jess) are at home self-isolating,

- Our Business Development Manager, Millie, is working from home in her bubble, and taking care of her little one,

- Our kitchen team who are able to work (Amber, Sandra, Shikylah, and Maddie) are working on restricted hours (7am - 3pm, Monday - Thursday), with separated work zones and regular sanitisation practices throughout the day.  We have created a contact-less zone, where deliveries and pick-ups occur without staff contact or contractors coming on site,

- As the Managing Director, I'm working with my team in the mornings at the kitchen (they are my bubble), and completing my office work at home in the afternoon.

Our aim is to support our customers and clients as best as possible during this difficult time, however we will continue to reassess our position on a daily basis as circumstances evolve.

We will get through this with kindness, strength, and by staying connected in the most healthy way possible.  As a small business, I'm always thankful to our customers for their support, and we have been over-whelmed by the kind messages we have received willing our business through this difficult time.....and please know, the very best way you can continue to support us is by ordering online - a delivery of our macarons to your door might just be the little ray of sunshine needed in an otherwise very quite few weeks.
